Stunt Class

Stunt classes will focus on flexibility first, progression training for the flyer's stability, and eventually coed stunting. The first 15 to 20 minutes of the stunt class will be stretching out the front left, front right, and middle splits. Once that is complete the instructor will lead the student through a quick stretching routine to stretch the muscles a littler further. The beginner student will work on doing step lock drills and being able to stand on their right leg as tightly as possible. They will then begin to learn the heel stretch, bow and arrow, scorpion, and scale body positions. These positions require a good deal of flexibility so the student is encouraged to stretch at home as much as possible. Once these four positions are mastered on the ground, the student is then allowed to learn co-ed stunting. The stunt classes' main focus is training flyers to be the best they can possibly be on their all girl squads as far as ankle stability and flexibility before ever moving to co-ed stunting.
